Full-Stack Engineer

Deontic is a generative AI company building a regulatory compliance toolkit and dashboard for Original Equipment Manufacturers, Vendors and Suppliers in the Autonomous Mobility space. We are seeking a highly skilled Full-Stack Engineer to join our team. As a Full-Stack Engineer, you will be responsible for developing and maintaining our AI-powered compliance platform. You will work with a team of engineers, data scientists, and designers to deliver high-quality solutions that help our clients stay compliant.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain the front-end and back-end of our AI-powered compliance platform using modern web development technologies
• Collaborate with designers to implement responsive and user-friendly interfaces
• Integrate various APIs and services to enhance the functionality of our platform
• Optimize the performance and scalability of our platform
• Write clean, maintainable, and well-documented code
• Participate in code reviews and provide feedback to other team members
• Stay up-to-date with the latest web development trends and recommend best practices to the team

Requirements

• Master's degree in Computer Science, Informatics, or a related field
• 2+ years of experience in full-stack web development using modern web development technologies (e.g., React, Node.js, Django)
• Strong proficiency in JavaScript, HTML, and CSS
• Experience with database systems (e.g., PostgreSQL, Redis)
• Familiarity with containerization (e.g., Docker) and deployment in cloud environments (e.g., AWS, GCP) is preferred
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
• Strong communication and team collaboration skills
